I've been an artist~maker since I was five; painting rocks and selling them door to door to our poor unsuspecting neighbors!
It encouraged me to keep creating (because who wants to say no to a sweet little blue-eyed kid?)
My love of creating comes from my mother and grandmother.... they were both quilters. One of my dearest possessions is the quilt my Nana made for me... now it is almost threadbare, but I will never part with it.
I am an unapologetic Magpie, picking up trinkets and stitching notions here and there... filling my treasure box so that I will have lots of inspiration to create with!
One of my favorite images is the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I re~create this image over and over in many different materials, always with a respectful nod to the one who sacrificed everything for me (and you).
